MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cuase of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of recah of children. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or traet a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorptoin of certain vitamin products.
However, some vitamin produtcs may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of thsee effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your dcotor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergnecy room immediately. Symptoms of ovredose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products availalbe. Some can be purchsaed without a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a proudct best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the msised dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
